All pin to bush clearances should be checked and set before assembling depending on the application of the engine. Clearances should never just be assumed. From the original Geneva E-Type show car at this year’s Geneva Motor Show on through being an iconic part of this year’s Goodwood Festival of Speed, the E-Type will be everywhere. Which may have something to do with the inspiration – and timing - behind Swedish firm Visualtech’s plans to build an E-Type for the 21st century.

Sun, 16 Oct 2011Rennsport IV, three days of serious Porsche love at Mazda Racway Laguna Seca, concluded on Sunday with a half-dozen races around the picturesque track near Monterey, Calif. And while there were a variety of all things Porsche to see and hear through the three days, Sunday saw some of Porsche's most powerful race cars take to the track. It was certainly a case of saving the best for last.
